Yin + Yoga Nidra (Guided Deep Relaxation)
Yin Yoga uses gentle long held postures practiced with an attitude of compassionate acceptance to awaken the more Yin parts of our physical, emotional and spiritual selves.
Drop In, Release and Connect. In this practice of slowly down, we focus on promoting
flexibility and stretching deep connective tissues enabling us to create space to turn inward and tune into both the mind and the physical sensations of our body.
We conclude the session with Yoga Nidra or Deep Relaxation. In this practice, you are gently guided through four main stages of brain wave activity beta, alpha, theta, and delta as you move through the five koshas (the five bodies of awareness). You’ll build a deeper connection between mind and body. Ease ongoing stress and anxiety, and feel your body melt away into a soothing state of being.
